We have a large garden that extends from the nursery room. There is a wide variety of equipment to physically challenge the children. In addition, there are opportunities to mark make, be creative for example, use of sand and water play, as well as painting.
The aim of Huggie Bears Family Childcare to be outdoors as far as possible as children’s learning is often best reciprocated outdoors as it is a natural environment for children to observe and learn from. Henceforth, in addition to outdoor play in the garden, Huggie Bears Family Childcare enjoys walks and outdoor play in local parks and amenities.
We will always endeavour to move our activities outside when the weather is good and children will have access directly into our garden where they will be able to play, explore and enjoy our large range of garden amenities.
